Style-eyes: Summer look with Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette

Hi lovely readers! I just wanted to share with you a quick summery look I created with the Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette:
Sugar Pop looks
$36.00 on the  Too Faced website

This is a really fun palette, full of bright colors that are perfect for this time of year! If you find that you are intimidated by bold shadows, this palette is perfect for you because it also contains some neutral shades, like Malted Milk Ball (a medium bronze brown shade with gold sparkle) and Blackberry (a matte plum purple), as well as some soft pastels like Peach Fuzz (pale peach) and Strawberry Ice (soft lavender). However, the real stars of the show are the brights - I mean, just look at Bubblegum (candy pink) and Blue Raspberry (teal blue)! Don't they just inspire you to create a fun summer look? If you're thinking "no way I am putting Blue Raspberry anywhere near my eyes", breathe for a minute. You don't need to slather a bright blue shadow all over your lid - you can get a subtle pop of color by using a bold shadow as an accent shade, as I did below.

To achieve this look, I swept Rock Candy all over my eyelid, from brow bone to lash line. I used Peach Fuzz as a transition color, blending it up towards the brow, then applied Malted Milk Ball to my crease. From there, I patted Macaron onto my mobile lid, and then deepened the outer v with a teeny tiny amount of Blackberry. I lined my eyes with a Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Brown, making a small wing. Now for that pop of color, I ran Blue Raspberry below my lower lashes. I finished things off with two coats of black mascara.

On the rest of my face I am wearing Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 2N1 Desert Beige,  Too Faced Cocoa Countour Palette for contour, bronzer and highlight, and Cargo Swimmables blush in Los Cabos. On my lips is The Balm Read My Lips gloss in Pop!.

What do you think - are you more willing to experiment with a bold color on your eyes now that you know you don't need to cover your whole eye with it? If you do try it out, please make sure to tag me so I can see your gorgeous looks (#msadventuresinmakeup).
Have you tried the Too Faced Sugar Pop palette? If so, what is your favorite look to create using it?

Thanks for spending your Friday with me. Live a beautiful life!
