Three Things Thursday 6-04-15

Hi there lovely readers! Welcome to a new edition of Three Things Thursday. This week the focus will be on eyes - read on to find out what is making my eyes shine bright!

Rimmel Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Nude 005

Nude liner is great for lining you lower waterline - it really brightens up the eyes and makes you look more awake on those morning you'd rather be snuggling in your bed instead of rushing off  to work. While there are many options out there, the Rimmel Waterproof Kohl Kajal liner performs extremely well, and only costs $4.49 at CVS. This is a staple in my daily routine, and I really can't see getting ready without it!

Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush

This synthetic brush  features a soft, fluffy brush head that applies a light wash of color. I use it blend out harsh lines or apply a transition color above the crease. While it is a little on the pricey side ($16 on the Sigma website), it is well worth the investment as it is my most-used eye brush, hands-down. No other blending brush quite compares, and I am seriously thinking of adding a second E40 to my collection.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Trio in Walking on Eggshells

This little gem costs only $2.99 at my local CVS, and creates a beautiful  -yet quick and easy - eye look.  The trio's three shades include a pearly off-white, a medium bronze, and a pretty peachy-nude.You can follow the guidelines for crease, lid and browbone (as I did in the photo below), or you can create your own look!

All shades in the trio are considered dupes for three MAC shades: Shroom (browbone), Cork (crease) and Naked Lunch (eyelid)*. For such an affordable item, the quality is fantastic (the same goes for the other Color Icon Trios); I highly recommend grabbing this the next time you see it at your local drugstore!

That brings this week's Three Things Thursday to an end. Please share below what your current must-haves are - I'd love to try them for myself!

Thanks for visiting - live a beautiful life!
