EOTD: Into the Blue ft. MUG Eyeshadows

MUG shadow looks
Hi lovely readers - I want to share with you a blue eye-look I created using Makeup Geek shadows. I absolutely love these shadows - they perform well, have a plethora of shades to choose from, and at $6.00 a pan they are an amazing price! I am now and always will be a palette girl, but I love choosing the exact colors I want and putting them all together in a customized Z Palette to create my own unique collection. I just ordered some of the new Duochrome colors, and I can't wait to play with them and create a look for you, so keep your eyes peeled for that! Because I think that these shadows are such high quality and well worth the money, I recently signed up to be an affiliate; I'll be sharing my affiliate link throughout this post. If you decide to purchase anything from Makeup Geek, please don't feel like you have to use my link...though if you do, thank you very much! :) :) :)  Now, onto the good stuff: if you'd like to know how I created this blue-toned look, read on:

MUG Creme Brulee, Peach Smoothie, Shimma Shimma
The Makeup Geek   shadows I used to create this look.
For this look, I used Makeup Geek Shadows in the shades Beaches & Cream, Peach Smoothie, Creme Brulee, Shimma Shimma, Glass Slipper, Ocean Breeze and Peacock.

To achieve this look, I primed my eyes with Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Once that dried, I applied Sigma's Eye Shadow Base in Persuade to even out my lid. Next, I swept MAC Vanilla from lashline to brow bone. I applied a combination of Makeup Geek shadows in Beaches & Cream and Peach Smoothie as my transition color, using windshield wiper motions and tiny circles to blend it up towards my brow bone. To deepen the crease I used Creme Brulee shadow, concentrating on the deepest area of my crease and not bringing it up too high. For the lid I used Glass Slipper on the inner third, Ocean Breeze on the middle third, and Peacock on the outer third, lightly blending one shade into the other. To highlight the inner corner, I used  Shimma Shimma, and then I smudged my lower lashline with the same three shades I used on my lid: Glass Slipper on the inner third, Ocean Breeze on the middle third, and Peacock on the outer third. I tightlined and lined my upper waterline with a black kohl liner, and used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Liner in Smoke to line my lower waterline. I finished things off with two coats of Urban Decay Perversion Mascara.

On the rest of my face I am wearing Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in shade 2N1 Desert Beige, Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Naked, and Anastasia Brow Wiz in Taupe. To complete the look I applied LAQA & Co. Cheeky Lip Pencil in Humble Brag to my lips and topped if off with Tarte LipSurgance Intuitive Lip Gloss.

I hope you liked this little look I put together. Thank you so much for reading, and remember to live a beautiful  life!
